What's New in Version 4
The Game Changer.
Over a year in the making, AgencyPortal™ 4.0 builds on the solid architecture of 3.0 with a new look and feel and many enhanced features and functions. And because all of the built-in content and functionality that made Version 3 so successful remain, upgrading is a snap. Here’s some of what’s new:
The AgencyPort Toolkit
The jewel in the crown of our Version 4 release is AgencyPort’s new Toolkit. Unique in its approach to user interface, Toolkit gives customers and partners a web-based tool with which to easily configure and maintain their insurance products within AgencyPort software.
Built-In Workflow
Building on what was arguably the best agent/carrier workflow solution in the industry, we’ve worked to make that workflow even more configurable and extensible in 4.0. With the new Toolkit, users can now configure and maintain instructions such as “Change the Status,” “Fire a Message,” or “Assign the Work” all without having to write a single line of code.
Work Lists
AgencyPortal™’s work list functionality has been rebuilt from the ground up, improving customers’ ability to configure work lists for different users and roles and improving the overall user experience.

- Automatic paging
Dashboard
Customized interactive charts and graphs are now standard in AgencyPortal™ 4.0. Out-of-the-box dashboard reports include:
- Submission summary by line of business, status, transaction or premium amount
- Time-based view of transaction activity or submissions
- Rules Results Summary
XARC Rules
ARC rules have vaulted forward in simplicity and configurability in 4.0, through a new XPath-based ARC engine called XARC. XARC works hand-in-hand with the AP Toolkit to enable authoring of rules in a visual editor. XARC logging works through the native event auditing API, making it easier than ever to write dashboard reports to display the top offending rules in the system.
