Software Manager Financial Planning & Analysis
Agencyport Software is looking for a high energy candidate to manage the Financial Planning and Analysis Function. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial / Chief Operating Officer, this role will be responsible for the financial, business and strategic analysis for the company's global operations. This is a unique opportunity for the ideal candidate to add immediate business value and establish the initial F,P&A infrastructure in a dynamic, rapidly growing company. The right person for this position must have high standards of personal excellence, integrity, a high energy level and an ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with frequently shifting priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manages weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting and analytics
- Manages the annual financial planning and budgeting process
- Assists in the monthly financial closing process
- Supports the monthly and quarterly Board of Directors reporting
- Creates and analyzes revenue pipeline reporting
- Provides market analysis and integrates market data with internal programs and plans
- Assists in the development, implementation, and management of Financial systems
- Supports business unit and operating initiatives with financial and business analysis, plans, projections and models
- Develops budget or fiscal reporting formats, develops and revises methodologies for forecasting cost and revenues
- Maintains relationships with operating managers to influence and advise them regarding financial results, budget variations, internal controls, and related financial matters
- Manages complex projects with minimal supervision.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or business administration
- 5-7 years of related experience, minimum 3 years in financial analysis and planning
- Software industry experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Summary
Agencyport Software is looking for an exceptional General Counsel to join the executive team and report to the Chief Financial / Chief Operating Officer. This is a unique opportunity to bring your legal leadership to a dynamic, rapidly growing company as its first in-house counsel. Responsibilities
- Counsel executive team and management on a broad range of complex legal, business and strategic issues
- Provide day-to-day general legal counsel on contract formation, negotiation, intellectual property, data protection, risk management, employment, human resources, corporate governance issues and mergers and acquisition matters
- Support corporate product and business development initiatives, including but not limited to, providing legal advice and expertise for commercial law, technology issues, development, strategic partnerships, licensing and distribution
- Develop, review, and negotiate software, services and other technology contracts
- Possess strong business acumen and have the ability to translate difficult legal principles into practical and effective business solutions
- Execute special projects as requested by the Executive Committee
- Oversee and manage retained outside counsel
Skills & Experience
- At least 10 years' experience, ideally in both a pre-public and public company setting
- At least 5 years working in the software industry, Insurance industry experience a plus
- Accredited law degree and membership in at least one state bar is required
- High integrity and ethical standards
- Experience in a national or international law firm, operating within the United Kingdom a plus
- Prior General or Associate General Counsel experience a plus
- Experience with private equity owned companies and the IPO process a plus

- Job Duties: to design and modify web-based applications using XML, servlet and JSP technologies; will deploy J2EE based applications into industry-leading server environments; customize Java-based, e-commerce products; support and install software applications; perform unit testing on software and write descriptions of system design; and program functions and steps required to deploy business solutions.
