Gary Brach, Chief Executive Officer
Gary has served as CEO of AgencyPort since 2004. With over twenty years of software industry experience, he has spent the last fifteen bringing fast growing, early stage software companies to market leadership positions. Most recently, Gary was co-founder and President of Smart Storage, an archival storage software company now owned by EMC. Prior to that, he worked at Lotus Development Corp., Datext, Inc. and Data Resources/McGraw Hill in product management, marketing, business development and consulting capacities. Gary holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a Sc. B. from Brown University.
Eric H. Harnden, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Eric is responsible for AgencyPort's Product Development Group, oversees Professional Services, and is actively involved in sales. Prior to launching AgencyPort, Eric was Manager of Electronic Commerce Development at John Hancock Financial Services (now part of Manulife), a leading life insurance company, where he led the development and implementation of multiple award winning transactional web systems. Previously, he held several senior consulting positions at Entex, now part of Siemens. Eric holds a bachelor's degree from Connecticut College.
Curt Stevenson, Senior Vice President, Delivery
Curt worked with AgencyPort as a consultant for several years before joining the leadership team full time in 2007. He began his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and later served as a business-technology liaison at Fidelity Investments. In 1997, Curt founded Back Bay Technologies, a successful technology consulting firm in the Boston area that he sold in 2001. At Back Bay, Curt wore several hats including VP of Services and CFO while managing many large projects. He is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and FLMI. Curt earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Colby College.
Steven A. Hauck, Co-Founder, President
Steve co-founded AgencyPort after nine years in financial services sales and marketing. Most recently, he was a director with The E*Trade Group and head of US Institutional Sales and Marketing. Steve also worked closely with E*Trade Corporate Finance and The E*Trade Venture Group. Prior to E*Trade, he was Director of US Institutional Sales and Marketing for TIR Securities, Inc., a global institutional brokerage boutique. Steve began his career with Shearson Lehman Brothers in 1992. He holds a bachelor's degree from Denison University.
Susan Yardley, Senior Vice President, Operations
Susan brings over 25 years of insurance industry and software implementation experience to AgencyPort. As SVP of Account Management, Susan is focused on all aspects of establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Prior to AgencyPort, Susan worked in the IT department at Manulife, with her most recent position as AVP of Long Term Care Systems. Susan is a graduate of Northeastern University.
Don Chase, Senior Vice President, Business Development
As SVP of Business Development, Don is focused on account management, channel development and large accounts for AgencyPort. Don brings over 30 years of experience in strategic technology planning and execution. He has a proven ability to resolve highly complex business issues involving IT processes and integration, especially those involving insurance processing systems. Most recently, Don served as Vice President of the Insurance Practice at Swingtide, an IT consulting firm. Prior to Swingtide, he was co-founder and EVP of AscendantOne, a provider of ISO Rating Services and Policy Administration Systems. There, he was responsible for the Professional Services Organization and was instrumental in operations and product design. As SVP of Allenbrook, Don oversaw Operations, Sales and Marketing and several large Policy Administrations implementations. Don worked for IBM for 15 years in Systems Engineering and Sales, ultimately leading to a position in System Engineering Management.
